Great stuff. No annoying music, no commentary, just straight Hakuho action, can't ask for more. Half the bouts end with Hakuho winning while looking like he barely tried, he made it look so easy, it's mind boggling. The bouts vs Kakuryu and Kisenosato are the highlights imo.

Amazing, short and straight to the point with great replays and highlighting their rank and current score. Couldn't be better, going to share with my sumo group.

5:48 You can see how gentle Hakuho is with his thrusts against Harumafuji. Truly they are close friends

I love how he waits for his opponents to get up so he can pat em on the cheek saying, see ya next week for practice. Lol 🤟☮️😎👍

Really fun watch here, it's interesting to see Hakuhos evolution over the years. He started this tourney so ferociously launching everyone out of his path. His body was extremely strong, only a few strong guys such as Kisenosato could match his intensity, and you can see Hakuho starts to slow down from the wear and tear of the tourney. Seemingly having to work harder for each win, but never taking his eyes off the prize. That Kise fight was so exciting, you can tell how strong Kise is, he stays in place to pushes and shoves that move other guys around, surprised Hakuho with his strength. Kise always does best when he's the underdog, wish he didnt crumble under pressure because he has an amazing style and exciting sumo. Anyways back to Hakuho it's interesting to see how in his later years his body definitely grew weaker, injuries and weakened joints caught up to him, but he just became craftier and smarter. Relied heavily on elbow smashes and face slaps until he could close the distance for a mawashi battle. No one could beat him on the mawashi. He really studied a lot of tape and perfected his tachiai to become so dominant for so long. What a legend and legacy he left behind, will forever be the GOAT of sumo.

This was just prime-time, total dominance Hakuho. Those first 7 or 8 matches were just a formality, he'd tear through them so quickly and easily. It was just a matter of tidying up the second half.

Definitely a young and strong Hakuho! It's really a testament to Kisenosatos strength that he was able to deal with Hakuho in that way. I think he definitely slowed down because of the wear and tear of the tournament. Some of those bouts like the Kise bout really stress the joints and injuries happen. Can you imagine how much their bodies must ache after slamming into 400lb rikishi at maximum strength for 15 days in a row? Really incredible athletes! Hakuho the goat!

Could you do a compilation of Hakuho colliding with judges? I kind of think that he did it on purpose whenever he was able to make it look natural, and I'd love to see all the times back to back to compare them!

Amazing to see all those great rikishis in their prime: Komusubi Kakuryu, Sekiwake Kisenosato, Ozeki Harumafuji. All of them will become Yokozuna.
