I removed the transom and noticed the stringer wood has all rotted away but instead of replacing the wood I'm going to install layers of woven roving over the stringers. I think the hollow shape of the woodless stringers is amazingly stiff, strong and will be more so with heavier layers of fiberglass added. The problem with my boat is termites ate all the wood. It was easy to clear the transom because there was no wood left between the layers of fiberglass. I've watched a couple hundred boat renovation/rebuild videos and this is the first time I've seen your method of measuring springers uhh stringers. It's so simple and so perfect. Fancy folk would probably use a Laser.

Well done, that's a whole lot of effort you have put in. Love the boat restoration content. I'm in the middle of restoring a boat myself, so I could watch this content all day. (While I procrastinate instead of sanding)
