I’m 40 now. I remember doing my high school homework on the dining room table while my dad watched TV. He passed 2 years ago and it seems silly, but these commercials make me feel nostalgic and make me miss being 15 years old hanging out with my parents.

It looks like '99 is before the music industry tried to destroy Britney Spears (she's 17 here), before the internet took over the world and before Kevin Spacey was revealed as a predator. A lot of things started rapidly changing for the worst in the late 90's!
