In this, the final chapter of Half-Life, the G-Man makes his final appearance and offers Gordon Freeman the opportunity to come and work for his "employers." Regardless of his choice, there is no further gameplay after this point. Choosing not to accept the offer, however, has dire consequences for the hero.
This chapter takes place in a variety of areas around Xen. In each area, the G-Man makes a portion of his final speech before teleporting to the next. The final portion of this chapter - and the game - takes place in a tram similar to the one featured in Black Mesa Inbound. In this case, the tram is traveling at great speeds through what appears to be outer space.
Player participation in Half-Life's End Game is extremely limited. In each area, the player in enclosed in a small, invisible cell, allowing them limited movement and the ability to examine their surroundings, but ultimately forcing them to pay attention to the G-Man's speech.
