Seems like a good method of commercial fishing. Short leaders and circle hooks help reduce the possibility of injuring fish that are part of the by catch and are going to be released. Stay safe, guys.

At last somebody finally gets it. We also have short soaks and hooks are not left overnight to continue to target halibut and lingcod and avoid the night time dwellers. We have a set quota and a very short window (hours) to fish once a year. All to keep healthy stocks for future generations. Thank you for your comment and support. Tight Lines.
