Always love watching you create these different blends. The one with cracked pistachio I think would be a fun one with Frankenstein on it. The green color just screamed out his name! Lol

Love these colors combos! Where do you get the ink to re-ink the pads? I never thought about re-inking instead of tossing them.

I'm still partnering learning ink pads. Can you use the these inks for stamping? Or are they mostly used for background blendings?

You can actually use Oxide inks for both. They have a pigment property to them, so stamp much better than the original Distress inks. Just be sure to let them dry, or heat set them, so you don't smear the ink, as it does take longer to dry than dye-based inks. Something I've noticed, though, if I stamp a bold image or greeting, is the Oxide color can sometimes change as it dries. Never figured that one out. In my experience, the oxidation effect you can get with these inks sometimes happened in that sort of situation even without my introducing water. Just something to keep in mind. Also, if you have the original Distress inks already, keep in mind that the corresponding Oxide inks don't necessarily look like the exact same color. Similar, but often just a different tone. Anyway, hope this helps. :)
