Technically Mikey was driven to Laurie's house in 2018, he didn't specifically target Laurie or her family in Kills, each time the family just kinda happened to entangle with him during these movies. Even in Ends, if Corey wasn't bangin the daughter, Mikey might not have ever come for Laurie. So it might not necessarily be a hardon for Laurie in this trilogy.

I enjoyed this movies but I can definitely understand why others might not liked it. There's a few franchises with at least one film pulling the bait and switch with who the killer is, so it's not unprecedented at all. Lots of people complained that little Mikey Myers was too weak and got beat up a couple times. But he's totes mcgoats old and he did survive the "Evil Dies Tonight" Gang Bang in the last movie. So totally should be decrepit. Prolly one of my complaints about the first two movies was, they were making him literally invincible at times so I thought they were maybe gonna go supernatural reasons for that, so that's one of the things I was waiting for here. I think the eye thing between them when Mikey grabbed Corey in the sewer was definitely some kind of transfer of power and I think most people believe killing gives Mikey power, so that explains him being less decrepit as we go along in this one.

If they had made this movie be all about the conclusion of Michael & Laurie’s saga (which was what this movie was supposed to be about) and then made Cory take up the mantle of being the killer at the very end of the film after Michael dies, that would’ve made for a much better film & probably could’ve opened the door for more sequels in the future, but nope

Loved this film! A happy ending for Laurie Strode, a definitive death for Michael, and a fresh start for Allyson outside of Haddonfield - a very satisfying conclusion. Michael wasn't on screen much, but his presence was felt constantly, as befits The Shape. Corey was a compelling character - one who showed the other (and far more common in the real world) way a person can turn evil - by being mercilessly mistreated. This was a fine contrast to Michael, who was apparently just born evil (in my opinion, rare in reality but it does happen). The way they briefly worked together mirrors how these two types of evil both work in tandem (not always explicitly) in reality to trouble the world. I have no trouble seeing Michael "weak" - he is 65 and beaten to hell. The evil inside was simply seeking another vessel - as evil merely changes Shape. No problem with Corey dying - he was impulsive and got too big for his britches, and Michael made him pay. Had Corey shown some finesse, he could've been the new Shape, but Fate had other plans. The door is left open for sequels via the continued existence of the mask at the end - symbolizing the fact that evil never dies, but is only temporarily beaten - and that it will inevitably return in a new Shape, as there are countless Michaels and wannabe copycats in existence or in the making. Loved your reaction and look forward to more! And give regards to Emma. Happy Holidays!

Loved y’all’s reaction to this! Michael spent the last four years recovering from his Injuries after Kills. That’s why he was so weak. However he was killing one woman every year during Halloween. There was a missing poster near the tunnel of a woman. It’s also mentioned on the radio station. There’s a deleted/alternate scene of Corey’s first encounter where he finds all of the bodies. Definitely should have been kept In. Also the movie was saying the town of Haddonfield created a monster In Corey after Michael disappeared. Definitely could have been done a little better, but I did like that a lot.

Another example was the 2010 A Nightmare On Elm Street remake. That was absolutely awful. The worst nightmare movie made. With all the original actors getting up there in age, and with the last remake not being very popular, I think this brings an end to the Michael Myers era. In the novelization of the 78 film, the Shape is a cursed spirit that possesses people from time to time and goes on a massive killing spree. Michael was the latest person to be possessed. With the beating he took in Kills, his physical body was unable to heal like it did in the past. In Kills Michael was 61. In this movie he was 65. So, when Michael catches Corey in the sewer, the Shape sees Corey as a potential new person to possess, but Corey must kill a few more people in order for the transfer to take place. That obviously did not happen. I think Halloween will disappear for awhile and will start up again, but in a new town with mostly new characters. I believe they foreshadow this at the end when Laurie says, evil never dies, it changes shape. My theory is, when it starts again, we will find that Alison became pregnant with Corey's child and the Shape will possess that child bringing Halliween into a new generation. When you read the credits, Michael Myers in never credited unless it's an actor playing Michael as a kid. In every situation when he's an adult killing people, it's always credited as The Shape. I think Halloween moving forward will be the Shape possessing the offspring of Corey and Allison. Michael was not the main villain. He was just the vehicle for the Shape, or as Loomis called it, the evil.

I actually like this one I think alot of ppl missed some obvious clues, evil eyes was mentioned by loomis way back in original, he transfer some evil power to Cory, Michael gets stronger and healing as he kills that was why he’s like vibrating at the time, Laurie looked at her granddaughter in last scene together like Michael and Cory she know she somehow got the power passed to her and not realize it My theory is - granddaughter is pregnant with Cory’s baby since they had sex, she locked eyes with Cory when she came in and saw what happened, so I think the baby in her stomach will be one to start new era of Halloween, scarecrow mask can be evolved into full mask and the baby grows up to kill Another thing I’m curious about, I wonder how did Michael acquire the evil power? I’m guessing there was probably same killer as Michael before him But who knows that’s my thoughts since I’ve seen all Halloween movies every year since I was child, also to point that there’s so much things in this trilogy calls back to every single Halloween films even rob zombie ones

Fans didn't want a "superhuman" Myers, even though he's always been superhuman lol. They make him weathered and vulnerable with old man strength, and they complain that he's not the "real" Michael Myers lol . Fans don't really want Myers to die, but they want a satisfying end to this series, which makes no sense. He has to die lol. The fact of the matter is that Halloween Ends was a pure bait and switch money grab. They hyped people up just to waste our time basically. Its the Star Wars sequels all over again where its pretty obvious that they didn't have a full story in mind when making this new trilogy of sorts. The trailers didn't show Corey. They only ever hyped you up about the Michael Vs Laurie show down. Now this is where people get confused because despite Corey being a pure bait and switch. His scenes are pretty good. They just don't belong in this movie. It felt more like a lifetime drama added into a Halloween film. Halloween is about Michael and Laurie. People paid to see Michael and Laurie and over all we did get that and a decent crusher ending but the show down was lack luster and Michael was in the movie for barely 5 minutes. They could of just given us this ending at the end of Kills if they didn't have any more ideas. Halloween Ends is bad and its bad for all the wrong reasons. I get that the message of the movie is that evil changes shape since they literally had a scene with Laurie typing that out but if thats what they wanted to do then they should have had the Michael Vs Laurie show down earlier in the film and then have Corey become the new evil because their showdown somehow directly effected and changed him in some way. That would have been slightly better.

One of the lines in Halloween Kills mentioned that Michael gets more powerful with every kill, this movie completely abandoned that notion. That being said, if it didn't have the "Halloween" title, it still stands up as a decent slasher flick. That oxy-acetylene torch kill was gold. It would have been slow. It would have burned through the back of your throat until it got so hot your bones started to melt. Bones melt at 3000 degrees Fahrenheit, oxy acetylene reaches around 6000 degrees. It's used to cause an oxidation reaction that's needed to cut steel.

I feel like I’m one of the select few that actually loved this one. It’s not what people wanted but I really enjoyed that it’s not about Michael Myers but it’s about evil personified. Halloween 2018 is perfect. Kills gave us more about Michael and Haddonfield. Ends showed the effect tragedy has on a small town even years after the said event. An example would be when Corey’s mom is talking to Laurie and she says that the town needed a new boogeyman so her son became a victim. The best trilogy is still Halloween ‘78, Halloween 2 and Halloween: h20.

I agree, I just personally feel like it doesn’t make sense… in this timeline Laurie got attacked by Michael Halloween 1978, where he got incarcerated. She spent all her years fighting and preparing for him, and finally got her reunion with him within Halloween 2018 and Halloween kills. She showed a lot of resistance and resilience, and at the end of kills claims she’s going to get Michael. Her daughter got murdered by him, he killed tommy and the entire mob and disappears. And you’re gonna tell me this woman with her years of trauma and preparing, just lost her daughter, is gonna decide “yeah now’s the time to give up fighting and become a grandma.” I also didn’t really appreciate how they made Allison seem so stupid. She was so smart and had great boundaries in Halloween 2018 and kills but in this one they just blinded her by love which seemed a bit unrealistic to what we’ve seen about her character prior. Just my take hehe.

Hi tasha I saw halloween ends and i was so disappointed. I did not like the Corey Cunningham character in this movie. Everyone I talked to was so disappointed also. I was wondering if you guys could react to the invitation. Love your videos and channel. You guys are awesome and amazing. I think they should've called it the Corey Cunningham movie.

Its baffling how people are lost with this movie. The last two films set up this movie down to its smallest details. I guess folks misunderstood 2018 and Kills because Ends is exactly what they were hinting at the whole time.

Oh my god this movie is absolute garbage lol As you mention in the caption, it totally killed the momentum of the first 2 movies. Remember how Michael rises and rages against the mob at the end of Kills with a superpower it seems out of hell only to be bullied by some unknown new character in the series who himself gets bullied by a high school band? Halloween Ends is without question the biggest disappointment of 2022, they had all the pieces built up with the previous 2 films and all they had to do was stick the landing and they completely and utterly failed with a mess of a new storyline that seems like too many writers throwing in their own ideas without even considering what came before it. Just terrible.

Oh this one is still 10X better than that pile of dung. 5 was rushed and they clearly didn’t even have a script to go on felt like they were making it up as they went. Not to mention they completely ruined Loomis’ character, killed off Rachel in a very bad way, not to mention too quickly, the Myers house suddenly being this huge mansion, reducing Jamie’s character to a mute for the most part. And of course introducing the loathed thorn cult shit with the Man in Black. I can at least respect Ends with trying to do something different and not just having Michael be the killer.

Yeah this movie was terrible & made zero sense smh. They should've just stopped at Halloween 2018 honestly all this trilogy did was rehash the same elements from the earlier sequels they ask you to ignore smh.

I really hate what they did with Michael in this movie.. James Jude Courtney, the guy who plays him, deserves more screen time. He was the best thing about this trilogy. Everything else is forgettable

Dreadful movie doesn’t feel connected to the other 2 films and it’s to late in the game in the trilogy to start experimenting and doing something different this should of been about Laurie and Michael but they were put on the back burner for a nobody some random kid this should of been about ,Michael and Laurie they made this a new film about Corey Cunningham and decided to throw Michael and Laurie fight in at the last minute and it will be forgotten this abismal film will be put up there with resurrection and RZ halloween 2

I wish Michael myers at the end credits of Halloween ends and wakes up attacks Laurie and Allyson and the entire Haddonfield mob realize he faking his death to get revenge on them since Halloween kills and grabbed a kitchen knife and killing them john wick style and starts butchered them with no mercy and then kill Laurie and shows no emotion or sympathy and toying with Allyson sadistically and walking away leaving Allyson holding a dying Laurie in her arms 😢 🥊🥊👀👀👊👊

It's not american or christmas themed but it is considered the most disturbing movie "martyr's 2008" it's one of my fav but not for the faint of heart not because of gore because of what it does to your mind. you change as a person watching it. the before martyrs vs the after martyrs person

Despite the description, you used you guys seemed to have a pretty good time with this. Like I'm not quite finished with the video yet but I don't think you've seen Halloween 4-8 right? Those are WAAAAYYYY worse than this by a shocking margin, actually this uses quite a few of the more interesting ideas from those entries.

Honestly, I didn't get into any of the new trilogy. H18 was okay, but it's just H20 when you think about it. It's the same kind of "let's ignore the sequels because we don't have any creative ideas to handle that continuity" reboot, it just doesn't acknowledge the second movie. Maybe this is just me, but I would've had more respect for them to actually creatively deal with the bad (and good, I will die on the hill that Halloween 4 is actually really good and deserved to be acknowledged as much as 1 and 2) sequels rather than this reboot. Idk, maybe I'm really just salty that H4 gets no love.

When you mentioned Better Watch Out I realized y’all’s reaction to that movie is why when I watched that movie a few weeks ago why it seemed so familiar. 🤣😂😭 I had totally forgot y’all reacted to it but while watching it I did think it seemed familiar. Anyways yeah I agree this movie was a let down as the end of the Halloween movies. I originally really enjoyed this movie but then as I thought about it more I realized the fact it’s not really a good sequel nor end to the franchise. Which is disappointing. I do however think it is better than Halloween Kills.

This closure is really interesting, unfortunately the movie couldn't or didn't know how to execute the novel somehow, in the movie Corey is like a "protégé" an "assistant" but in reality it's Michael, but he's living in Corey's body, the personality change too abrupt, and not as subtle as it happens in the movie, in the novel it is obvious that Corey began to die slowly in that pipe, the first time he looked into his eyes, but Corey resisted that evil. But is it a new skill that Michael developed in those 4 years of absence? Nope, that was the evil that Loomis described, his evil infects those around him, many patients suffered the same, the homeless man was one of those unfortunates but the main examples of that influence were Doctor Sartein and Laurie, that obsession, that anger in the town that arose after Kills, he fed on those feelings, on everyone's fear, and that did not allow him to die, but his body was very deteriorated, and because of those "shape changes" in Corey, but he is still ours Mike. And in the end Laurie being left alone, she doesn't choose the cherry blossoms, she chooses the second option because it's obvious that her true love was the Boogeyman. If it's a love story, sick, toxic but love at the end. I recommend you read the novels are fucking amazing!
