For a man that tears apart guitars for a living, you should have a full set of hex keys. Imperial and metric. If the Gibson had the Jackson inlays, I’d be set. But I think I’ll stay with my single cuts. The pointiest guitars I have at the moment are a V and an Explorer. But I’ll pull the trigger on something crazy within the next year. I’m an 80’s kid, so I gotta have at least one ridiculous guitar. I’m thinking BC Rich. I had a purple Warlock and a black Ironbird back in the day. Wished I still had them. 🤘🏻

For a VERY obscure Jackson, check out the Custom Shop Zoraxe (from the Zelda video game). There were only 7 made...all hand-carved and painted. I had the chance to buy one in the early 2000's, guy was selling one on Ebay with case included he won in a raffle. He didn't even play guitar. lol so it was unplayed and completely mint. He was asking $3,500...all I could get $3k, but he wouldn't bite. I regret not getting a quick loan or something for the other $500 ever since. They're going for $10k - $15K nowadays. EDIT: I thought there were 3 made-there were originally 7 total. They were commissioned by Nintendo Power magazine for a video game promotion to be made by Master luthier Dan Lawrence of the Jackson Custom Shop.

There is no need for an allen key to lock or unlock the strings on the LSR tuners. Turn the tuner clockwise de tuning the string fully, then the locking mechanism will pop down...at this point the barrel on the tuner is used to loosen or tighten the lock...turn the tuner again in the same direction to free the string from the locking mechanism. Same but in reverse for putting the strings on...feed the string through, turn counter clockwise until the lock engages, push string clamp up with your finger while turning the tuner and it will feed into the tuner housing

Did you actually know that DC-resistance does not mean output? It's the inductance, that means output, inductance is measured in Henry, H, you can build a pu with low Henry and high kOhm, it will have a low output and a special sound, cause the Henry don't match the kOhms. This explains why Jazzmaster pus can be relatively low in kOhms and still have relatively high output.
