Got my workout in fishing the Hamilton Branch. Up and down hills, walking in fast current, bush wacking and rock crawling. Did manage to catch a few fish along the way!
Slayed then again! Seems like alot of fish for not being that many there as before haha great catches!

Thanks! Last year you could see pods of fish and a lot of really good ones. This yr I hardly saw any fish at all and the size of fish was definitely down. Still fun and fishing was still pretty good. Had to make a trip there before it closes.

Nice video! The lake stayed high all year. The water never warmed up in the lake. So most of the fish stayed out in the lake all summer. They closed the creek early this year.

I just started Euro nymphing a couple yrs ago, so I'm fairly new at it and still learning. A friend of mine got me started by giving me some leaders and flies and I just went from there. The best advice I can give is get good instruction. By this I mean watch the guys who are the best at it. Mainly the competitive anglers. My favorites are N Maktima, Tactical fly fisher (Devon Olsen), Tom Jarman. The Fulling Mill and Umpqua channels have lots of competitive anglers from around the world giving instruction. Lots of on the water instruction, reading water, weight management and line control.
