I could not stop laughing at 15:20 when you had to ask if this had been polished at some point or not. hahahahaha. Yes I bought it new in 2015. I think one of the reasons I have three chrono's in rotation is so as not to over work any one piece.

Juan Nuñez - Yeah, it caught me off guard right in the middle of the review when it dawned on me, "Hmmm that may actually have been polished center links at one point." Lol.

I use it so much that the polished links look brushed.

does the crystal have anti reflecting coating? thank you

I reviewed the watch when it was on loan to me, so I don't have it in hand to know for certain, but I don't believe it had anti-reflective coating (but I could be wrong!). I know Hamilton has just increased use of anti-reflective coating, so this may have it, and I just don't remember. Sorry I can't be more helpful!

Great looking watch and cool interpretation of the 1970s RAF pilot chronograph. What I really love is the dial! IMHO, unfortunately, there are some shortcomings in the design. First of all the watch is way too big in almost every aspect. It's pretty thick which is probably due to the base caliber used (7750 automatic). The Fab Four where handwound only. It's great to have a date on the dial but the white date wheel destroys the symmetry of the dial appearance. I would have preferred a black date wheel with white text. The biggest disappointment for me is the lug with. Hamilton should have stick to the original here with 20mm so the standard G10 Nato straps which are still issued and available to the public would fit.

I love these. I would have bought one but the 22mm lug kills it for me but thats just me. Still an amazing piece.

Hello sir why my watch advance 15min before the date change? Thanks
@DavesWatchLove

The hands were installed in the watch while the date was sitting at 15 minutes before midnight. There's nothing mechanically wrong. It's an easy fix for a watchmaker (not sure what it would cost). But if you can live with it, there will be no damage done leaving it as is. It just will be an annoyance.

Great video, Dave! Very tempting to dip into my grail fund for this one, but I'm going to be strong. Maybe.

Michael J. Savage - Thanks for checking in. I'm doing well! I just moved and took a big job promotion, so I am swimming up against a big learning curve these days. But I am settling out and think I'll have a video out in the next week I hope.
