I love that it's simple, secure, and you can loose the knot with a single tug. Thank you!

OMG! A 6 yr old video, and the only one I’ve found after clicking on a bazillion videos that shows you how to actually put the rope through hammock loop! Geezus 🙄Everyone wanna show you the rope on the tree, but no one shows you the other part! Thank you! 😂

You can always feed the tail end of the rope through the loop to prevent it from coming out. I haven't had a problem, but it might make you feel more secure.

Nice video. I think a "hammock knot" is not suitable for this application, because it is hard to untie, once it was tightened tightly. I suggest using a sailor's knot for the loop. It's always easy to untie, regardless of how tight the rope was. Of course, if you even intend to untie this loop. If it stays there forever, it's OK then.

Your knot appears to be a version of the sheep bend - or should I say slippery sheep bend but still very simple and effective

AKA the sheetbend witrh slipknot, more secure would be a double sheetbend, or tighten the slipknot and secure with a toggle.
