Takeshi Kitano is my favorite director.
My degree thesis was on the figure of him not only as a director, but above all as an actor, director, screenwriter, editor, TV host, comedian, singer and dancer.
This video essay is a small summary of one of the paragraphs dedicated to his cinematic grammar. Because I could have talked about his paintings, his accident, the sea and who knows what else. But I felt that to broaden the internet landscape a little, it would be more interesting to analyze something deeper, precisely, his grammar.
As always, I thank my precious team.
