Hello ma'am, I like this bead stitch of yours very much, can you please tell me what needle is to be used for this and which thread and how many strands?
@FymsEmbroidery
10 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much for liking my videos.I use six strands of DMC embroidery thread.You asking me about needle no this is not specific .This is up to you how many strands of thread you want to use.More important thing about needle is the EYE of needle you should use needle with big eye and sharp point.

+Falak Mahveen Hi, actualy not all the time I have different variety of threads I mainly use DMC but in the same pattern for french knot or some time in leaves I used different thread It is depends on the demand of pattern and some time I found some shades in different kind of thread so I am not trying to be hooked up with one type of thread. Thanks

Thanks for the kind reply. actually i am very beginner in embroidery, so confused about the threads. i also need to know if the thread variety selection also depends on the material of fabric? such as if there is a silk fabric then can we use the cotton embroidery floss or pearl cotton or we can only use the Silk thread for silk fabrics and vice versa? and one more thing i would like to know what types/materials of fabric is the Pearl cotton mostly used?.thanks for your help.:)

+Falak Mahveen Hi Falak my dear first of all you do practice on broad cloth or cotton fabric with cotton embroidery thread its very good for beginners and for silk fabric pearl cotton and silk thread is very good and for pearl cotton thread you can use cotton and silk and shaffon fabric to.The thing is that if you want to give the fancy look you can use the silk thread on cotton fabric to .Thanks
