Haters gunna hate but The biggest problem is people will name their haters which gives them free press it's like free advertisement for people to go to their channel and give them views or even push new subscribers their way possibly I don't like mentioning people's names because of that there's a lot of people I think that are absolutely fuckin stupid! but I'm not going to shout out or mention their channel because I don't want people to go over there and give them anything! Lol a big fat ZERO! 🤣

@@thebug4046 all of that is unfortunate stuff. I just know I like your channel along with 2 or 3 other rc channels. At my age I have no time for messing around. I’m newer to the sport somehow( all things internal combustion rule) and I like picking up on things that will benefit me. For example…… I know you know your s..t and from a technical standpoint engine wise, I dig it. Keep pumping out the videos. They’re good.

Considering that people out there that "mod" engines are taking a dremal to them and make changes by hand and some will say it makes them run better it stands to reason that making your own rod could work just fine. I recently modified a piston and sleeve to fit in a discontinued motor and it worked just fine the trick is to not fear what you don't know and experiment, killer video man 🤘

3:07 having hole there (but on the other side) let’s the fuel coming through the crank lubricate the rod. All the top race engines have this and none of them have any rod durability and longevity issues. Those companies also use actually good materials so that helps quite a bit

Absolutely! I have been doing a lot of research on it but for a connecting rod made in my kitchen it's not bad for a ham sammich haha but yes I'm going to make another with different oil mods like the new engines.

@@thebug4046 if it tests well, there are companies like ProtoLabs who you can submit the cad file to and they can send you batches of them. Might be worth looking into if more people show interest.

@@Rebecca_The_Dragon Unfortunately in my area there's nothing really like that around at least you want to spend about 7 or $8000 to have your attention for 5 minutes that's why I haven't really gone that far yet. so I'm still trying to find somebody that can help me out with a whole situation. But lost of testing to go. I have done this last year with 3 gallons on a hand Made connecting rod for a trx pro 15 and still going! 💥💯🤘🏻🍻

I’m looking to get an upgraded connecting rod for my traxxas 3.3 but cant seem to find one anywhere. Do you have one you would sell or could source me one? Thanks
@thebug4046
9 ай бұрын
Sadly nobody makes an upgraded connecting rod for those engines anymore. What I can suggest is wait for half a gallon of fuel and then take the engine apart replace the bearings connecting rod and wrist pin all at the same time. That will tighten everything up and it will last. Top that with a os lc3 glow plug
