Definitely intriguing and interesting. 🤔 Wow love my rope wrench. But I want to check that out.

Interesting concept... Have you considered having an extra hole behind the pulley and locking pin to allow for a knee ascender to attach into? For rope walking simplicity, should in theory self tend the knee ascender and keep nice tight line and inline.

yamato tanaka I was thinking of trying to make a Petzl Stop version for a 1/2” line most descenders won’t fit 12&13mm. I sleep in trees / tree canopy camping

@@nidannow thats cool! Just make sure you test the gear to breaking point and then make another to climb with! And test that one in low elevation many times before taking her up high! Thats great though! Please share when you make it!

nice mod man, but for rope grab ??? you have to test it first, statically and dynamically

Given that I am keen to make my own rope wrench I would have liked you to hold it still, perhaps even on a bench with some rulers/scale for helpful sizing... Your hands were often moving it around. Just saying. Thanks again.

I have made my own couple of rope wrenches. Pleased. Using some native timber I grew myself. Adds pleasure as you will understand.
