Today was a good day! Most folks believed the forecast, so the course was basically deserted. Played a lot of two-ball, good practice, wearing shorts and a polo. Got to repair TWO pitch marks today and discovered my 8 iron will stop on the green very quickly from ~80 yards. Wonderful thing to know when one suddenly gets to awful tree-finding shanks or tips. My old irons (23 years old) would not have checked up like that - would have bounced and been chipping from the back side.

Found you off the back of a Rick Sheils videos and found it great to see someone playing around my standard. I’m still fighting the lack of consistency which is so frustrating because you know you have the shots in the locker but the consistency is the hardest bit to nail down. One thing I’ve certainly learned from your videos is your attitude towards the game. It brilliant, you always come out with a positive outlook even after a bad shot. I always struggle with that and let the game get into my head too much. Look forward too seeing more content buddy. Keep up the great work. 👍👏⛳️

Hey Dan. Thanks for the comment! Unfortunately consistency is the hardest thing to master in golf. @@BogeyGolfUK Golf has so many little things to learn that help us automatically. They are things you can do without worrying about your swing. You have a naturally athletic swing. Things like the open chip. Things like ball placement in our stance changing for each club. Play the ball closer to your higher foot with weight on your lower foot on an uphill lie. When the ball is sidehill below your feet, aim a little left. A little right if the ball is above your feet sidehill. None of these things require you to have the best swing for you to get your best out of the shot. All the changing your swing thoughts come much further in your progression. Your swing is athletic and balanced. You can play with what you have. We just have to learn the basics of what to do right for each shot. I enjoy watching you develop. P.S. I had a buddy who shot in the 120s for 18. He worked hard and now shots anywhere from 75 to 85. He is not what you would call, athletic. He learned "how" to play.
