Mr Bisseker I am going to give you a good tip for your Trangia 25 stick pans and please do try the instructions on how to make them none stick 1st time bring your dry pans to a smoke over the kitchen stove 2nd Once your pans are smoking and verry hot pour into the pans a couple of tablespoons of decent rapeseed oil and cook for about 3 minutes further and make sure that you have completely coated all the frying pan over and then leave to cool completely and wipe out the pans with kitchen paper towel and 3rdly repeat the process again until you have gone over the pan with kitchen paper And your pan willingly will be none stick with the coating barrier and I can say that your eggs and bacon will float in your pans in vegetable oil like torvil and dean on ice and you and your brother carry out your marvellous food cooking skills and making me laugh at your wonderfull crazy bantering with your bro 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😉👍

Thanks for the video. I'm looking into getting a Kelly Kettle, possibly the Scout model with hobo stove. Please be careful when using herbs and spices as I rubbed my eyes immediately after adding herbs to a meal and now I'm parsley sighted.

Superb Paul. A great demo. I love my Kelly kettle have had one now for over 25 years and use it primarily for basecamp boiling of water and cooking due to its bulk. The Hobo section is a recent but great addition and is a great way of utilising the fire for cooking once the kettle itself has boiled water for a brew just like you showed. Your food looked great :)

I tend to take the fun out of research. I probably put in about 80 hours of research looking for the perfect hobo stove. I watched your video several times. Out of all the stoves out there, I ended up getting the Kelly Kettle Scout model. This would be one of the best pieces of kit I've purchased. Your can't go wrong with the Kelly Kettle. Also, that's a great looking meal you've put together. Thanks for sharing.

Paul Bisseker Bushcraft okay it look like it was about either a 30 or 40 liter back I just wasn't sure. Question for you, have you ever tried the Molle 2? It's the army Patrol rucksack with the MSS Sleep System compartment. Just wasn't sure I absolutely love mine that tops out at around 100 or about 6600 cubic inches. It's kind of Overkill if you're just going for a Day hike but I also have a beautiful original genuine flecktarn German military surplus pack that one is about 50 l. Let me know buddy take care

I finally found a Kelly kettle for $30 delivered. It's vintage and I burned it once. Want to get the pot topper 2 piece kit. Instead of paying for the hobo $15 im taking My stove base to a thrift store I'm going to find a pot to fit and take a grinder to it. I get it right I get a $2 hobo if not I learned one more thing that I suck at.

Is it me, or is it a bit harder to cook a meal for one than it is for multiple people? I've been fiddling with a BioLite 2 campstove with a 1 qt pot. Wonderful for stuff out of the can but I'm trying to work out how little I need for a stew for one. It's going to have to be all fresh because anything canned is just going to be too much. What you made is way too much for me. Maybe......hard to tell with video. Looks delicious though. Sealed bags are a brilliant idea.

I have been told on other videos that i had enough food for 4 adults. I had one 400g tin! I have always thought it's better to cook a larger portion and save some than try to cook a smaller meal. It only takes a few minutes to reheat the left overs later or the next day. It's difficult to get the taste in a small portion. A tin of food is just a small portion from a big batch! Thanks Bobbo ')

You did not have the venthole in the firebox facing into the wind, and you should only ever feed fuel through the opening in the hobo so as not to restrict the airflow into the firebox .

Yes that is a cool camping stove system. That food would taste delicious I'm sure. I hate to be a killjoy but I have to tell You that frying is one of the unhealthiest ways to cook since the high temperatures destroys the protective chemicals in the food , frying makes it taste nice but it isn't too good.to , tomatoes are very healthy to cook.
