Family tradition was always the song that brought the house down at the live shows until all my rowdy friends and country boy can survive came along in 81-82 and that cranked those live shows to soon to be stadium shows

Hank Jr, has more talent in his own right, in his pinky. Than Hank 3, Jett Williams, and others combined, who try live off Hank Sr's name.

16:40 Hank didn’t like something. I don’t recognize this Bama band, but that guy was certainly intimidated. Was Animal Turner in the band at this time?

@@bolivingston1400 Thanks, Bo! That’s good information, I really appreciate it. Is it me, or do these guys seem a little uneasy up there? Was it because of the venue, or did Hank always make them nervous?

@@hazelconn7874 I agree, Bama’s presence was largely felt and appreciated.
Can you upload the full Austin City Limits episode from March 17, 1990, courtesy of pannoni8 on the Internet Archive? Michelle Shocked performs one of today's most advocative and socially conscious songwriters, Strength in Numbers performs some of the finest instrumental virtuosity you'll ever hear. From a rerun on WTTW on August 30, 1991.👍
