My main takeaway from this excerpt is, the 2 musical ladies have aged remarkably well, haven't they? Wish I could say the same for myself! Just as alluring as I recalled from a long-vanished childhood, seeing these 2 lovely specimens for the 1st-time in decades does, at least, make me feel young again!

Haven't seen this show in decades but I do recall it. A product of its time, an obvious attempt to appeal to the young generation of the mod early 70's. HB always perceptive to cultural trends. The stiff, economy-minded animation painful to watch now, though well-restored, & fun from a nostalgic point-of-view. I'm sure none of this mattered to me as a kid/young teen, as I only tuned-in for those 2 main ladies, as I recall, still quite appealingly drawn. I don't recall if I had a favorite, as I expect I thought both were delicious! I think I remember being amazed that such was on Sat. mornings, a sort of grateful disbelief! Despite HB's minimalist, cost-cutting animation tricks, the studio was pretty good in terms of comedy situations in their vast gallery of cartoon TV series, with up-to-the-second cultural awareness, along with sharply defined cartoon personalities that appealed to kids of each respective era. I still remember the one-season prime-time HB series "The Adventures of Huck Finn", a combination of animation & live-action, many episodes of which now are on You Tube. These've been fun to see again, too. The combo of cartoon & live-action always intrigued & appealed to me as a kid, as it still does. Though short-lived, "Huck" was of higher-quality than their Sat. morning fare. HB could do it when required!

Anyone remember HB's "Super President"? Few do but I recall watching it on Sat. mornings circa 1966, a banner year for someone like me who, as a child/kid, loved Sat. morning cartoons! 1966 was the year "The Roadrunner Show" came to TV, my favorite of all-time in that now long-vanished era of my childhood! Golly, how I loved that show! '66 also saw such series as "The Beagles", which followed Roadrunner & which I recall liking very much, though no longer sure why. I have only the vaguest recollection of the show but definitely remember liking it. Also, "Hoppity Hooper", another great favorite, "Frankenstein, Jr. & the Impossibles", "Secret Squirrel", "Atom Ant", "Superman/Batman/Aquaman", "MIghty Mightor", "King Kong", "Linus the Lion-Hearted", & many others. I really liked "Super President", though, which became a favorite. Haven't seen in decades but something abut it appealed to me, perhaps the novel premise, I don't know. Sometimes childhood memories can be disappointing when revisited decades later but the 2 ladies of "Butch Cassidy", as seen here, don't disappoint at all---the memory matches the reality perfectly! At the time, I seem to recall the show as being very realistically animated, which sort-of impressed me. Far less so now, except for the aforementioned damsels! Alot of fun to see this again, thanks!
It's weird how they play a laugh track whenever Wally and/or Elvis makes a joke/gag, but never plays it whenever Butch, Stephanie and Merilee do it.

Who wouldn’t want to imagine Butch carrying Stephanie over the threshold as they enter their house on the old family cattle ranch Butch inherited from Grandma Cassidy (maiden name of Pearson as in dear ancestor Colonel Pearson who founded the ranch according to the storyline of the classic Disney western movie “KING OF THE GRIZZLIES”).

Genuine question since you keep spamming this, why do you ship Butch and Steffy together? Is bc they have similar personalities and you want to play off of that? Is it bc you not like merilee (compared to Steffy at least) despite her and butch being canonically together? Or are you just having silly fun that’s not supposed to take seriously

Also technically Warner only has distribution to the Hanna Barbera library. Even after buying Turner and eventually closing Hanna Barbera the copyright to my knowledge never was transferred. It could have transferred and I was unaware of it but far as I know it take Tom and Jerry for example Turner Entertainment technically has the rights for them despite Warner also being it's parnet company. My point is that copyright and trademark can transferred or it can remain with the original owners. It depends on the situation.
