'Light' Neville Street, a project launched in 2009, integrated art and engineering to reshape a key gateway to Leeds. Featuring a contemporary public sculpture, 'A Light and Sound Transit' by Hans Peter Kuhn, within a specially constructed 100-meter-long environment, it offered an immersive experience for its 19,000 daily users for over a decade. It was decommissioned in 2022 due to Leeds Railway Station's redevelopment.
Experience 'A Light and Sound Transit' in its original presentation through this 360-degree film. For mobile users, explore the artwork from all angles by moving your device. Alternatively, immerse yourself fully at the Henry Moore Institute archive, where a VR headset transports you back to Neville Street in 2009.
