I like the prominent bass-line and the kinda bit jazzy-feel in this :)

Elevator girl . This is one of my favorite BABYMETAL song in Metal Galaxy album . That song is heavy, but underated. i like the coreography too. But, Japanese version is better for me 😁 Btw, good reaction 🤘

Good reaction. The English lyrics are a lot less interesting than the original Japanese lyrics. The English one is about life's ups and downs (fair enough with the 'elevator' reference of course). The original Japanese version is about taking an elevator to hell to be tortured with hot needles for 10,000 years or something.

I love the concept of an elevator girl asking you whether you wan to to go up or down and then taking you to the pits of hell either way. So BABYMETAL!

I didn’t like the lyrics as much as I did the instrumental. As I stated the guitarist is amazing! They have great vocals too. I enjoyed my reaction. I didn’t realize how many faces I make 😂

Lol I know you're bad with Sarcasm Jack, but you had to detect it here. The emotes give it away. Lol
This song isn't too popular generally among Babymetal fans, especially as a single made more prominent by an English-language release (some Japanese lyrics are below). I think it makes more sense as an album track, but it has a couple of elements I do really like - the jazz feel mixed in uniquely to this song plus those heavier instrumental breaks - so I do enjoy revisiting it. The English lyrics are a letdown, though, especially compared to the Japanese: 次は地獄に止まります tsugi wa jigoku ni tomarimasu/the next stop is the hell (or we/the elevator will go to hell next) _Going Up Going Down_ _Going Up Going Down HELL Yeah!_ 地下2000階 chika nisen kai/the (or a) 2000th basement floor 真っ逆さま massakasama/(we fall) head over heels 火あぶり針地獄のフロアです hiaburi harijigoku no huroa desu/the (2000th basement) floor is the hell where we are stabbed with (big) needles and burned to death (or the floor is the hell that is burning and has lots of (big) needles) だからいつも命がけ dakara itsumo inochigake/so, (we) always risk our lives

Elevator Girl (English version) is my least favorite Babymetal song. The half Japanese version is far better. Somehow the English version took all the spunk out of it. Its flat and dull.

I get that, but personally, I felt it more when I was able to understand the lyrics and put it with the choreography.
