That’s great they both started ! Boy those are REAL clean for being 51 and 52 years old ! You took great care of them . Are they both yours or is one yours and the other your dads or both your dads ? I see your at the cabin , I’m so done with winter and now there talking snow on the 10th !!!!!! Looks like your cabin is up in the woods , good deer hunting there ? The color reminds me of the 50’s Evinrude sea-foam green . Good to see you made it through the winter ! SKOL BUD !

Hey bud! Yeah I wasn't sure on the 68 there, but once she had some extra help, she fired right up. The 67 is my dad's, although I took care of all the mechanical work, and the 68 I am half owner on. (Dad and I each paid half) But he always says the cars are mine anyhow. . . I was at the cabin for the week as it was spring break. We have some property on the other side of the lake that has some good hunting, but we need to be more aggressive on the food plot this year to keep the deer around and fix up my dad's deer blind. Unfortunately, I am back in the u.p. now. 10 weeks to go until I can head home and tinker with outboards again! I just heard about that snow storm. Oh joy. Thanks for the comment my friend! And thanks for watching!!

Delmont Industries LTD they are nice vehicles for sure and I kind thought the one in the garage was your dads because yours was outside ! Lol. Ya there saying that Wednesday we might get 6-8 inch’s oooo joy ! I’m so done with winter this year I could just shit brass tacks ! I’ve bought a few motors and a very strange water well hand pump from the 1800’s so I tore it apart and am going to rebuild it for shits and giggles ! Hope your doing well in the u-per like ya said not much school left until it out . SKOL BUD !

@@davekimbler2308 Sounds like some fun projects. Yeah we are still working on finishing a garage to store the cars. The restored one stays in the garage, haha. The other 2 originals live outside sadly.

Hi Nick- as usual, you are kicking me in my rear end to get out there and start my GTO. My videos are not as interesting as yours, but maybe I will show how I prime the carb with fuel before cranking it, just to save wear and tear on the starter.. I am getting too old to get under there and replace it any more.. ha ha... I also love the way the second car did NOT kick in with the choke- even though it may load up the plugs with carbon until it warms up, I still think that with a first start, slow idling to allow expansion and warm up, will keep the engine healthier longer.... just my humble opinion, friend.... Thanks for the video and getting me fired up to work on the GTO! GTO Howie

Hey Howie, Yeah I couldn't stand it any longer. Spring break came around and I had to fire the old girls up. I let both cars warm up for at least 10-15 minutes before giving them any gas (I cut that part out)So they were good to go. Brought then back to life nice and slowly. They both need some major love though. They don't like sitting. The brakes on the 67 are locked up. And I think there is a crack in the fuel line causing the hard starting on the 68. But oh well. We will keep going on. Can't wait for summer to hit so we both can get out and enjoy our cars! Hope you are well.

That’s the same model as my very first car which I bought in 1971 I think. It had 425 hp.

Ive watched all your car vids as i have a 68 catalina 4 door myself, and theres nothing better than the old 4 doors :) someones gotta love them. They all dont deserve to die. Love what you got. Freinds got a 70 cutlass as well. I was wondering how do you not get in trouble for running thise 68 plates? I would like to put some on my car but not sure what laws there are. Could you shed some light? Thanks :)

Thanks for watching! I personally love the 4 door cars more than the 2 door. I am not sure why everyone loves 2 doors so much. The 4 door cars are so much more comfortable for cruising! Sounds like you and your friend have some nice cars! As for the plates, Michigan has a special program where you can register a plate the year of the car for a one time fee. Then it is good for the life of the car as long as you own it. Unfortunately, though you aren't supposed to drive it as much as a normal car. But you can drive it to shows and around for mechanical testing.

@@delmontindustriesltd7501 alright. Cools. Thanks so much for the reply and explination. Yea. Some cars are better in 2 door and some belong in 4 door. We do have fun :)

I do. Unfortunately, it is 538 miles from where I now live. I will be back there in June though so I should be filming it then. Sadly that will be the last time for quite a while on that car though. Unless I bring it north with me. Thanks for watching!
