I watched this all play out from almost the beginning. I've known a few people like her in my own life, and I really do feel bad for them. Unable to feel secure in themselves, they find a person, subculture or some kind of external influence to latch themselves onto and create a "personality" of sorts from it. It must be a way of coping with low self esteem or the like... I'm not really sure, but it always stands out and is kinda sad to see. UNTIL they start lashing out at anyone that questions their more outlandish decisions. You can see her progression, post-punk/emo, japanophile to the point of insisting she's actually japanese, then hardcore Muslim to the extreme that she's married to a Saudi man and will no doubt be trapped in Saudi Arabia when she finally realizes her mistake... Despite all the trouble she's caused, it's kinda sad to see it end this way.

So happy she's gone....hopefully she'll move to Saudi Arabia soon and never darken our shores again! Her one video saying she's quitting KZitem is still up and she still has a massive amount of subscribers. If she really wants to quit, she should just delete her entire channel completely!

Poor Mira, I think she became a victim of her own success. She left Canada at a very young age without qualifications or goals really. She moved simply to follow a guy she worked with. This may sound like a romantic notion, but she did not really have direction. I found her following the Sharla drama, but would watch her videos... without the drama, she was entertaining, yet naive. Clearly I was much later to the game, but I paid more attention to the drama-free silly content. She clearly was very delusional and very impressionable. A Canadian person who believed she was become truly Japanese and then found Islam over an infatuation with a Japanese guy. It's very shocking and sad to witness. Looking back at Jvloggers who quit, it was disappointing when someone left but you realize what a good decision it was in retrospect. Mira stayed for too long and she had the misfortune of attracting too many lunatics. She may have benefited financially from start, but it backfired on her. When I think of her, she is gaslighting in human form. As you said, she's crazy and paranoid, but she will turn that around on her target and make them doubt their own sanity. Anyway, I wish her well and hope she is happy with her decision.

Quarantining just the sick wouldn’t have worked either. The incubation period is too long for that. So people who didn’t appear sick were already infected, That’s why it spread so well. Ebola for example killed people so fast it didn’t spread like COVID.

You cover so much ground and so many topics. I have to pick just one subject to comment about. You're thinking about writing a book about you romantic portion of your life. Does your romantic life exist in its' own little world? Every part of your life affects every other part. Worst, you'll run out of material. You always wanted to be a comedian. Every writer and comedian has to have a voice by which they express themselves. I watch your videos, and you seem to have a voice. You have a funny voice. People say negative comments about the clutter in your house. I think your home, brain, and life are all the same. They are full of interesting things. I think your problem is, you don't recognize that. It's sort of like Mary Poppin's bag. It's this little bag, but she pulls all these things out of it, that just wouldn't fit. I've noticed your life exists in phases. Of course your childhood, but what about when you were cruising around South America. How about when you owned a club, or when you had long hair and drove a bike through red lights because you were grieving over a break-up. I don't think any part of your life exists in a bubble. All the aspects bleed into the others. I remember a video when you were walking with your son. A motorcycle goes by, and you turn so hard, I thought you were going to get whiplash. I don't really know you at all, but it seems like you need to change things up a bit, or you become bored. The truth is writing is just hard work, and don't know how you would find the time. You might just not want to do it. There is a speech by Teddy Roosevelt called the man in the ring. Roosevelt tells of a man standing in the ring. He is bloody and dirty, and people are mocking him because he just lost a fight. Roosevelt said at least he tried. He lost, but that's more than what those who mock him have done. There is nobility in failing the good fight. From my perspective, you don't have to prove anything. So, maybe you don't need to create another chapter in your life.

@@Gimmeabreakman Therapy? No. I don't know shit. That's why I delete my comments. You could write book. Just go with your own idea. It's just that true life romance books have a curse on them. The author of Eat Love Pray had her romance life blow up. It was the same with, How Stella Found her Groove. Her husband turned out to be gay, and had a boy friend. Yeah I loved Fleabag, but my wife hated.
