Tour of less well-known places in Harajuku beyond Takeshita Street: interesting shops in the backstreets and hidden spots!
Harajuku is Tokyo's kawaii central for cute, alternative fashion. The main street is Takeshita Dori, but there's lots more to see too. Explore the backstreets (Urahara) for a more laidback atmosphere, indie shops and to see a different side that's off the tourist path. I'll also show you Laforet, a department store with lolita brands, Tokyu Plaza Omotesando, the Moshi Moshi box and kawaii Harajuku Clock by Sebastian Masuda of 6% Dokidoki and peaceful Togo Shrine, where you can see turtles and koi carp.
