*Love it! Keeps the room very **Fastly.Cool** . The manual states it comes with a year warranty and 5 year part replacement. The compressor makes the typical sound...small price to pay for AC.*

Thanks! The instructions that came with the new switch (exactly like the new one you purchased) made absolutely no sense at all. Thank you for clarifying how the wires were placed in the switch. $6.40 for a replacement switch vs. $150+ for a new fan and having to put the new fan in!

Don’t give that helper of yours any more time off! It’s hard to simultaneously record and stick a wire in a switch with just 2 hands! Thank you so much for this video; I was ready to return the switch.

I’m glad you were able to use this video to assist in replacing your switch. I apologize for all the fumbling around in the video. She’ll get no more time off....lol.

Massive help thank you! The instructions in the package are horrible. Its very to use once you understand, however, the instructions need to be rewritten.

I really appreciate your video. I found the wires weren't stiff enough to push them into the new switch. It was really difficult and wouldn't work for me unfortunately.

Lisa, thanks for commenting.. I would like to suggest if you're handy with a soldering gun, perhaps you get some additional solder on those tips to stiffen the ends up. You can do this, I'm confident that you can be successful.

Instead of straight down the back of the switch, you go in from the side of the switch...gotcha. I actually drilled out the back of the switch to open the holes a bit. I inserted the wires and all of them caught but one. The instructions that come with this cheap made in chi na are worthless. Very frustrating. The only thing that made sense was matching the numbers and the "L" on the old switch to the same on the new. I'll revisit this I just assembled my fan, gotta mount it so it will be an easy task to move the wires to the side of the switch. Thanks for instructions.

If your Fan has recently been plugged in to Electrical Circuit - PLEASE look into the Housing of the Switch and you see a Rectangular Box, BEWARE - that is a Charged Capacitor!

They came up with a horrible design on this switch. It shouldnt be that difficult to stick a wire in a hole.
