People often underestimate the importance of good grounding over power wires and connections when it comes to wiring

Very well said. When I was installing that train horn my new compressor quit working. I chipped away some paint and found a new ground point. Good as new!

Ok will do. I only mow my lawn which takes about an hour so that could be awhile. I’ll give an end of season update. I just got a snowblower for the front as well so I’ll get some more time on it with that too as long as we get snow. Yesterday I didn’t throttle it back as I mowed as I could hear the hydros “crying”. Was thinking if I don’t need the full power I don’t need to use it. Mowed great never bogging down. Nice knowing the power is there if needed.

@Rankin Projects does it bog in tall grass? I won’t be mowing anything taller than 4-5” but mostly just normal yard. Thanks

It does not. When I was mowing with the 18hp Briggs it would but not with this predator. Loving it so far.

What was the original motor you replaced? Looks similar to the 23hp in my JD zero turn. Im looking to do a predator swap as well.

It’s not worth the trouble for a repair shop to do it because of the time to rig it up 😮

I didn’t cut the 670 shaft. It was the grasshopper shaft that drives the hydros.

@rankinprojects599 ok that's good did you put a 2 to 3 year warranty on the engine

@@Godzillas300Inline6 I did not. It has 90 days but they wanted another $260 for 2 year warranty. After research and reading reviews I decided to let it ride.

@@rankinprojects599 ok well also what number fuse are you running on
@rankinprojects599

@@Godzillas300Inline6 I kept blowing a 10 amp fuse and the grasshopper was a 7.5 amp originally. I am just using the stock fuse in the ignition that came with it. It is 10 or 15 amp I don’t recall, but I can check when I get home from work for you. That’s the one you are talking about correct?
