Very good. I'm hearing both sides. I suspect the quality varies widely between welders.

@@TheNateTake I have one of these and it works fine for what I do. Another video discussing this little welder explains that it is actually made by a handful of different manufacturers- so even though it's the same Flux 125 welder, if you were to open them up and inspect the internals it's possible to see different components and layouts. So that may be why your second welder looks different than the first welder, at least on the inside.

Haha, finally... an honest review of this machine. You're right about the fanboyz for sure. I call them the "just as good as guys" because everything they buy from HF is just as good as Miller or Lincoln. One fella left a comment on one of my videos touting that he built $80k machines with his Titanium 125. I love how all the fakes don't know anything about duty cycle so they don't realize the people who actually weld know they're lying.

How’s the wiring on the garage low current or poor condition outlets

Hmmm.... i'd had mine ever since the first came out... first thing i did was change the sketchy ground clamp. I run .035 wire made by inutub that runs like a champ. Then we bought one at work (a scrap yard) to kick around a couple of years ago. We used the crap out of it and i taught several guys how to weld with it and then we bought another one for our other location and i taught a guy over there how to use it last year and its still kicking. I even bought a spare for my personal shop because ive used mine so much i was afraid that it fail at some point....spare it still sitting in the box unopened. Now i did change out the ground clamp on all that we put in service and run the inutab wire only.. other than tips we have never had any problems. Hate that you had such a bad experience. I can tell if you have to use a extension cord with it make sure its a heavy duty one and under 25ft or if on a generator use a 3500w or better. Oh and your wire feed problem could be the switch in the gun ....

Some people have success with this particular welding machine. That's for sure. But for a sample size of two to be two duds, well that just spoiled it for me. The replacement machine I got is a lot better already. I'll upload a video on it here before long

Honestly, Your problem sounds like you could be experiencing Nozzle Size mismatch. Harbor freight puts there .035 wire right by their .03, I imagine You have the stock nozzle and The .035 wire. This definitely happened to me with my First wire welder… Lol.

I’m about to do a project at my friends house and don’t want to burn his house down. Where can I plug the welder up without any issues
