I just got the same thing in a Janzen Mb300. Got the thumb also. It's amazing. Works good where a backhoe won't go. We've only got five acres and it works fine for a small farm. Better than any shovel I've found. Good vid.

Pretty good little demo despite having run many heavy construction machines in my life and fully understanding hydraulics I still enjoy watching them work in somewhat of a bit of Amazement of how easy they make it look and Complete a project could you even imagine on how hard clearing what you did in this video would be by hand ? wow !

I agree with Carl . When all you got is you this can be a great solution. You may can get a small skid steer for the price of this but not something that moves , digs , and has a bucket for 2500.00 its possible but not where I live. Out here in North Carolina a backhoe i golden and they not cheap 6,500 if your lucks and it goes up from there

Hey Carl's Creek... I've been watching alot of your videos.. I really enjoy them.... I've been obsessing over the harbor freight backhoe trencher for some time now... I'm still in debate of buying one.... But since I do like to tinker with things and build projects. I'm wondering if you'd have any knowledge or if you'd think that it would be possible to purchase a backhoe attachment for a tractor and mount it to the back of an old jeep or truck? I'm not real knowledgeable when it comes to hydraulic pumps and such.... But I was thinking that if it is possible, could a person weld a mount on the rear of a jeep/truck for a backhoe attachment, and then use a small engine and pump to operate the hydraulics? I'm mostly wondering what type of engine and what type of pump would run a backhoe attachment? If you have any idea or info, please let me know.. I'm not really sure what type pumps and engines would run such an attachment.. Thanks

I’d say, bud, if that’s your goal, buy the trencher and cut it up to mount on the back of your Jeep. It’s simpler than you think. These machines are incredibly simple. I’m not sold on the benefit of what you’re building, but projects are fun. 😉

I love my harbor freight trencher although mine has gotten real sloppy. I think the steel they used for the pins and bushings is subpar. I plan on going through it this winter and putting new ones in. How sloppy is yours?

banshee8989 The only real slop in mine so far is the swing cylinder. Other three are pretty darn good. I’ve seen better steel for sure. Oh well. We’ll fix it and press on. 😉

Pretty neat. A 4-5 GPM pump would be a worthy $200 upgrade to speed it up by 50-100% on the hydraulic movements. Otherwise looks quite capable. Thinking about getting one to tow behind my Cub Cadet GT2544 featured on my channel. It's got the electric hitch and bucket, did that last year, but having a backhoe would be amazing. Been thinking about this a while, the Predator engines are excellent, I have the 3 inch trash pump with the 202 cc and it starts like butter. kzitem.info/news/bejne/soigv3aEsKOUoag This definitely looks like it would be pretty reliable provided you don't abuse it. I understand the lift is about 600+ pounds, which means it could double as a crane to load a trailer. Nice video, subbed. Cheers, Greg😎👍

I've had good luck with harbor freight motors. You really can't beat them for the price. I wouldn't recommend them for commercial use though.

why is the universe would you or anyone buy a piece of crap like this. These things are an accident waiting to happen. They are not cheap in price. Look around for a second hand piece of equipment that needs a little TLC. I am always looking for tools and equipment that were maybe overlooked and deserving of further consideration. This Ain't it !!!!!
