I had one myself back in the day, they were still a hot item in late 2000 when this was filmed.

How have I not seen this movie?

It had a limited release that was straight to DVD, most of the stuff that came out of Roger Corman's studio in the early 2000s hasn't gotten a rerelease on Blu-ray (they only reissued a lot of the older stuff from the 70s and 80s about 4 or 5 years ago). It's a solid movie, though it's kind of hard to miss the obvious homage to The Matrix going on with the stunt work and the 2 assassin characters.

One of my favorites from the latter days of the Femme Fatales era of B-cinema, and also sadly one of the last films to feature Lorissa McComas. There was a lot of potential here among these actors, and with few exceptions, they didn't do much following this film. Today it seems like Fred Olen Ray and Jim Wynorski (among others) are more interested in rehashing goofy monster movies for SyFy or just making extremely bad softcore.

I only looked into it cause of marko zaror. Redeemer, undisputed 3, savage dog, and alita were all good movies he was in. So i was just looking at some of his older shit. Now hes going to get the recognition he deserves in John Wick 4.

@@WM-mu8ep It’s interesting, despite Roger Corman being singularly focused on low budget material, he’s managed to give dozens of big names from directors like Francis Ford Coppola and James Cameron to major A-list stars like Sylvester Stallone and Jack Nicholson their starts. I figured some of the stunt men who worked on this film would hit it big, some of the action scenes in this are insanely good.

@@caiolimacaldas Yes, I remember quite clearly, though as this came out while I was in college, I remember seeing the beginnings of the current PC cancer metastasizing on campus.

What band is playing on this trailer?

Andrew Vetting The name of the band is Powder and the song is called "Up Here". There's a music video for it on KZitem also. This movie basically started their career, which was sadly quite short. They basically got the jump on Evanescence by a couple years, though their sound wasn't really that heavy on the Goth imagery. Fun little fact, guitarist of Powder Phil X replaced Ritchie Sambora in Bon Jovi.
