I bowled duckpins for many years, it’s the most aggravating fun game ever. I’ve also bowled what we call ten pins is what you call regular bowling. I’m glad you told people that duck pins is a hard game. We don’t use the game with the strings. Most ten pin bowlers think duck pins as a sissy game because everything is small. It’s much harder than the big pins and balls. They don’t know what a chop is, LOL ! My son and I bowled on the pro tours, I no longer can bowl but he still does. You need to come out to Maryland and bowl some games without the strings and take a full approach. I enjoyed watching a few of your videos. I will sub to your channel. Kathy Simon

Bowling Duck pins as a kid, you were allowed 3 shots per frame. There was a bowling center near where I lived that had 50 lanes. 25 Ten Pin, 25 Duck pin. We used to bowl a couple of games of 10 pin then go throw duck pin.

The ESPN zone in Vegas had something similar - narrower lane? - back, way back around 2002/03. We sucked at junior world team challenge and took a few teams over for a mini baker tourney on this stuff. WAY FUN!

It doesn't seem much different from my normal house shot experience. 🙃 What happens if you roll the ball real slow? Give it time to mix and tumble pins? Maybe a real slow Brooklyn glancing shot?

Duckpin is pretty cool if you havent tried it. Was able to do it at the Hall of Fame in STL when they had it. Unfortunately it never picked up down in the South but knew it was a bit bigger up North. Not sure how big it is now compared to 20 years ago since a lot has changed in the sport since then.

@@brunsnick yes. But stringpins are taking over even regular bowling. In Germany we have the highest energy prices in the world. The proprietors who are mostly not bowlers change every bowling alley to stringpins bowling. Same thing is happening in the USA it's even sanctioned by the usbc. Biggest fault ever. This will ruin the bowling we used to love. Profit it's all that counts. They don't even make it cheaper they keep the same prices per game even though they save tons of money less electricity, less maitananance, no mechanics. I wonder what the pros in the pba think about that. I saw a interview with belmo he talks about it very wise. It's keeping many bowling centers alive but it will be the end of bowling as we know it
