Is this the hardest race in the world? Every year, the World Coal Carrying Championships take place in Gawthorpe, Yorkshire, England. The challenge: participants have to complete a one-kilometer course as fast as they can while carrying a bag of coal on their backs.
Men have to carry 50 kilograms of coal, women 20 kilograms.
