8 at the back and 3 at the front is 24 gears, not 11 🤣

@@True_Racer According to the "numbers" you've only got 2 gears; 8 + 3 = 11 -> 11 = 1 + 1 = 2 1st gear = fast 2nd gear = reckless

Most people run 1X drivetrains today, meaning one gear in the front and anywhere from 8-12 in the back. It really makes the bike lighter when you lose the front derailleur, shifter, and gears. Also less moving parts means less breaking parts. It's an easy conversion lot's of videos on it.

@@True_Racer never heard anyone describe 8 in the back and 3 in the front being 11 in terms of gears. Its 24 😊. Nice views man keep smashing that trail

sweet ride! as others have noted, tool kit and inner tube a good idea. As you do more uphill sections, I think you will find the extra gears helpful. It's experience, and you're all about that. Keep on keepin' on.

I understand what you're saying about the amount of gears.. but if you only had the high and low with just a few in between, the big jump between cogs wouldn't work. As you ride different types of terrain you'll appreciate having that precision.. and the ability to make small changes in gearing depending on the trail. Also, with modern systems you can make multiple shifts with one click of the lever if need be. Anyway, compared to new riders I've ridden with, you're killing it. That Spider's gonna be saweeet!

@@True_Racer i just watched your first win video from March 2018. I've recently bought a FA Kart x30 and suck so badly (mostly fitness) so that was pretty inspirational to know it was your first trophy in 4 years of karting. I'm sure i speak for others when i say we'd love an update on how you and the family life is going. Much Love to all

like in any motorsport. weight savings are cheaper especially when it's your ass and you can put the weight elsewhere after.

Hope you learned a little lesson on that ride... Get a saddle bag and keep some basic tools in there along with a spare inner tube!
