Hello, I am trying to setup something very similar to this however when I connect to Qground I do not get the same screen you do at 3:00. I do not get the list of params on the left the way you do not allowing me to load the planes firmware. Would you happen to know why this happens?

Hello, Great video for beginners like me. I was hoping I could get some help here. I am developing a flight control system using Autopilot (Pixhawk), Companion Computer (ODroid-XU4),Ardupilot 3.5. The application requires me to inspect a power pole using a drone with autonomous flight (UAV). Could you tell me how to set up the geofence with respect to the power pole.? I already know the location of the poles and I am trying to create little geofences around each one,Like a "stay out zones". Can this also be tested using The HILS you explained ? Also, it would be really helpful if you could suggest how Id proceed with the above task

Do my px4 needs to be gps fix in order to get a good simulation? When i connected with x plane 10, i got a gps bad fix alarm and i couldn t continue with my simulation. I am working with qgroundcontrol10 and xplane 10. Also, i am trying to simulate a VTOL aircraft.

@Monash: Great stuff. I am using the latest version of QGC and Xplane 10 to simulate.However the plane refuses to arm wen i disable Sensor HIL in the QGC. Even if it arms, it doesnt takeoff or accept Auto mode. Can you help??

Karthik A hey this is from 2015 join the pixhawk facebook page and everyone there is really helpful and you may find someone near you that will help face to face. Good luck. Ive had my pixhawk for over a year and still cant work out how to get off tge ground. Can program all switched and sticks but bont know if thats it so your way ahead of me. I have to use Air3 Inav which limits me massively. goos luck
