Here's another video of our TB900 cutting logs. Blue Gum is an australian eucalyptus tree which is common in New Zealand. It's our most common Hardwood we sell.
Our logs are left overs from being harvested from forests that are purposely planted for being used for timber and building materials. They are all sustainable forests meaning they are replanted after being harvested and continue to rotate. The plantation forests mean native forests and ecosystems are preserved as building materials are grown like a crop and in the process carbon is extracted from the atmosphere and stored in the timber. Our firewood is recovered from the forest and rather than decaying and releasing it's carbon, we intercept the process and allow it to be used for useful, carbon zero, renewable energy.
