I am a union floor layer here in Indiana, and I mainly sand and paint basketball courts, such as the Pacers, Indiana University,Butler University and many more. I can tell you that anyone who slides around on a basketball court is absolutely crazy. There are so many boards that could shank up and get caught in your clothes and go right into your leg or stomach. There is a certain video on KZitem you can find where a female basketball player slid on the floor and a board went through her jersey and into her stomach and stuck her right to the floor. My company has heard of this happening so many times around the world on different basketball courts
