Nice, i prefer a excellent guitarist with a "cheap" guitar than a "cheap" guitarist with an excellent guitar. Thanks a lot, Harley Benton products are cool.

+Perth Guitar Hi, if you can, try Harley Benton effects it's good stuff, i'm gonna buy Harley Benton JA-60SB Vintage Series. i live in France near the German border and i bought a lot of Thomann products always happy. cheap in my mind means low price of course, you are a cool guitarist so you can play a 100 or 5000 dollars guitar and i think you find a cool sounds.

Great comment, I totally concur Farouk - always great to hear a guitar demo'd by an accomplished player ... although I would say Harley Benton's are affordable or inexpensive instruments, rather than cheap :-)

Nice playing - thanks for posting - Thomann ought to give you a discount on your next Harley Benton. Unlike your playing the Harley Benton guitars can be a bit hit and miss - from very good to minor faults to absolute shocking QC. God knows how our American cousin get on with the product return turnaround time. Looks like you gotta good 'un. Brilliant playing.

Great video Would you recommend this H. Benton model as a very good choice for blues and jazz instead of eg. Cst and other also very good models they have. Already have guitars with both humb.pickups as well as a telecaster Squier?

@perthguitar5160

Thanks. Not that heavy actually. Nice to play but tuning is a little frustrating. Probably a combination of the nut slots being too tight and poor tuners. I'll get around to fixing it one day.

Nice 1 dude. The only thing that lets this guitar down is the sound holes! They are FENDER style F holes of a Thinline Tele! Apart from that it sounds the business & very nice playing!

I have the previous older version of this guitar,the E35 and it still has the traditional Gibson f-holes and the rounded Mickey mouse "ears/cutaways",and a more traditional looking headstock.But still,this version looks great and has it's own vibe.And I suspect it has better sounding pups.Mine came with harsh sounding ceramic pups around the 9 ohm range but after a magnet swap they sounded fine.If you get a good one, these guitars are great!

These retail around £175 inc taxes and delivery from Thomann to UK. I would strongly recommend buying an Epiphone ES-339 Pro instead at £350. Light years better.
@perthguitar5160
7 жыл бұрын
Love my Epiphones too. Got three of 'em. The 339 body is considerably smaller than the HB-35. The good thing about the HB-35 is that it is a bit smaller than a 335 but not as small as a 339. You are probably right that the 339 is of better quality but in the many months I've had my HB-35, it has never developed a major issue, I still play it all the time and nor have I modded anything out. I still reckon they are a good deal. Thanks for watching.
