My first Harley was also a Fat Boy (2019) 🙂 Still lovin' it, excited every time I start the beast up!

I stumbled upon a short featuring these and as I had never heard of them before, so I decided to visit their website, and I was astounded when I saw the price! I was thinking there's no way these could be worth much at that price, so I begin searching for some videos and came across this one and I'm glad I did. I'm currently riding a 2020 Heritage Classic that I bought used, and it has some V&H Eliminators which are fine, I love the deep rumble they deliver but they don't have that chuffy raspiness that is synonymous with a Harley, but these do, and I think as soon as I finish composing this comment, I'm going to order some. This was a great, informative video. Hope you're still enjoying the Fat Boy; it looks and sounds great! And btw, I love your old truck as well. Keep rollin'!

I smiled when I first saw this video and meant to respond to it much sooner! As a "brand new rider", I did the same thing last year: Bought a 2023 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy 114! I'd only completed the MSF course at the local Harley dealership, but prior to that visited the store due to having riding friends in town that wanted to go there to get some gear. I saw and just had to have this 2018 Anniversary Edition Fat Boy with the matte blue and black finish. Got a little scared. Backed out. Then, regretted it, because it sold almost instantly! Found a '23 that I ended up getting the '22 colors (Midnight Crimson and Vivid Black) put on it. After having had it for a year now, I too recognize the need to change those mufflers. You called it a Honda-Davidson, I call it a sewing machine! Considered those Shark Roads, and may just get some because of the price. Though I'm also debating between the Screamin' Eagles, the V&H Big Shots, Short Shots and Big Radius 2-into-2. I love that improvement in sound you've got, (and that's all I'm really looking for)! But want that deep, throaty sound of those V&H's, but MAN, the price... Thanks for sharing that video! I'm not sure when I first saw it, that it had the Shark Road upgrade, but then, the Honda-Davidson comment was familiar... Anyway, do you still have them on there, and at this point if so, what's your thoughts, feelings, recommendation regarding them now? How have they held up, appearance-wise? Thanks in advance for your feedback!

I also debated on many other higher priced options. To this day, I have no regrets whatsoever. They have a deep rumble and are holding up just like when I first installed them. 5000 miles later, I still love the whole experience with this Fat Boy and dig the sound the slip-on produces. Spent more than enough on the bike so glad I could do such a cheap upgrade for the results I wanted. Appreciate the comment and ride safe! ✌️

Those pipes sound pretty amazing and for such an affordable price. I just bought some for my softail slim. I'm curious to ask if you installed these pipes with bafflles or no baffles?
@IronHorseGarage

There are baffles. However, they are removable. Thanks for watching!

Did you do any tune with the slip ons and did the dealership say anything about your warranty? Thanks brother
@IronHorseGarage
7 ай бұрын
No tuning. Dealer said nothing about the warranty. As far as I know, it doesn't void anything, since it's not really modifying anything. Thank you very much for watching!
@superdave103harley

@@IronHorseGarage well it modifies the air fuel ratio and in some bike certain pipes can run lean.. so I know some dealers in certain areas it's a gray zone for them just wondering if your particular instance they mentioned anything.. thanks

@ecc5119, Interesting that you consider your Short Shots "obnoxious". They're HIGH on my list of slip-ons! (Also considering the Big Shots and Big Radius 2-into-2). While I love the deep, throaty sound I hear "in videos", I didn't get the impression they were "obnoxious". Excluding "loudness", from the "sound" in this video, would you say the Short Shots seem to have a "deeper" tone?
