@@robertjeffery4664 No I'm was a H-D mechanic for 1980 to late 90s.(Also have built multiple Chevy and Ford car engines too) And still work on them a bit.. I've seen showoffs butt their shovel head Harleys against a wall and do burnouts until the cylinders we glowing red hot. Great way to damage rings, cylinders and pistons if ya over do it. If you overheat the rings they lose their tension, and the engine will smoke excessively from then on. IMO it's a better show of horse power to just drop the clutch and take off spinning/smoking the rear tire.. You can make just about anything do a burn out by brake torquing/butting against a wall/curb etc.....

Great way to screw up an air cooled engine. Well done Captain Duck Walks His Bike 😂
Air-cooled engine, one which gets pretty hot just from idling! But let's red line it for 5mins straight, because we have a new tire to put on. Completely ignoring the fact that he should have bought a new engine as well! Pretty much annealed the valves, the rocker arms, the piston, definitely the rings, wrist pins, rods, crankshaft(Aka bearings), probably melted the plastic on the primary chain tensioner. Or at the very least put a significant groove in it(Prematurely) Anyone with a Lil common sense about engines, within a block or two. Are probably wanting to sock him in the mouth. And I'm not even referring to the chaos, noise and smoke he's sending through everyone's fucking houses! I was on board, until he past the 15-20 second mark. It's guys like this, that ruin the image of motorcycle riders. Don't get it twisted, I'm game for burning rubber! But it's all about the location and being done in a respectful way. Towards other riders and the people around you! Don't be a Kyle!

A burn out is not to sit there motionless holding the brake the idea is get the wheel spinning let go of the brake and whoever leaves the longest rubber trial wins, On my Kawi 500 triple I would lean forward use my hand to shift into 2nd and would still be burning rubber now that is a burnout.
