I love my Street Glide Special, best of the 7 HD's I have owned so far. I added the fairing wind deflectors and they work great. You can find them cheap on ebay or buy them from HD. They make a huge impact on buffeting. As far as going for a smaller bike when you get to your 50's, I am 5'7 and 145 lbs. and still putting the miles down at 67 years old. As of now no plans for me to downside.

I am a fan of the street glide after riding one. How do you find the front fairing on a windy day? I agree with you about the sport glide, but the panniers look too small. The rims on the sport glide are the best looking in the Harley range IMHO. Looking forward to more videos about the street glide.

I had a 2014 Street Glide special, but when I decided to get the 2019 Street Glide I didn't care for the blacked out bike (Street Glide Specials are all blacked out)so I just got the 2019 Street Glide and I absolutely Love the chrome and the newer GTS boom box system. I have the Rinehart Slip ons and the stage 1 air cleaner and tune mine is the 107. I absolutely love the Milwaukee 8 over the twin cam in my old 2014. @@ThrottleDownunder I love it. I'm a tall guy 6ft 2 and I get a little buffeting at 75mph on the highway. I have the 7in windscreen so its a little taller than stock. I tried the 9in windscreen but I don't like how much that one obstructs my view.

Does opening that vent on the front help buffeting? I was just going to buy one of these and then I watched this and it reminded me of my victory magnum the buffeting made me feel sick sore tired and made riding shitty during the ride it was just the buffeting you deal with after the ride you deal with the after affects , the human head is not meant to bobble around like that I'd prefer to just be out in the wind and no buffeting it makes riding much more enjoyable

I own a 2019 Street Glide Special and kept the engine standard. On my last Harley I went straight to a Stage 1 so I never had a comparison to standard, and I was interested in the difference. The low speed fueling issue you describe is exactly the same on my bike, so I don’t think its your Stage 2. I am actually thinking of putting on a Stage 1 kit just to better tune the fueling across the rev range. You don’t mention which tuner you have on the bike but I could suggest to get a tuning shop to look at the fuel map.
