1. There are dimples inside the tour pack to show you where to drill the holes, from the inside. No need to measure or try and line things up if you use the Harley Luggage Rack. 2. Never use regular Blue Loctite 242 where it can come in contact with plastic. Blue Loctite 242 eats plastic. The instructions even say not to use it around plastic. Don't believe me go to their website and download their technical data sheet. Loctite has a special version for plastic Loctite Blue 425. But that is for locking metal screws into plastic holes.

Thanks for watching and the information on the loctite. Always appreciate it when fellow bikers try to help each other out.

Hi, new subscriber due to this video. Nice job! I have to do the same, but as I do not now have the passenger back rest to use as a forward stop measurement, think, I'll get the passenger backrest installed first then buy and install the luggage rack. My bike is 2020 FLHT, I also want to install the king tour pack wrap around light. I'd love to see you guys do a video on this as there 8 screw holes I need to drill in the tour pak and will have to make my own template to do so. Also need to figure out the wiring connectors needed, that wrap around led light has a 5 pin connection to connect to it. I'm sure my bike has all the correct connectivity, just need to find the right pig tails to buy to make it work.

Thanks for watching and subscribing. I'd wait until you have that backrest so you can line everything up just right. Remember lay it all out and double check everything!!

Lift the lid. It should have marks to drill.

I got a used TourPak luggage rack with the light on it from a friend, didn't have the screws with it. The three alike ones were easy, local hardware, but no one, including local Harley shop, has the oddball for the wiring, Any ideas?

I’m not sure where you are located but I would try Fastenal, if you have one in your area. They have a lot of different things that a local hardware store wouldn’t.
