Harry made a bet with the powers-that-be at RCA that he could make a great TV commercial for his new album for less than $5,000. According to video producer Stanley Dorfman (who also worked with Harry on his BBC special "The Music of Nilsson" and directed his 1984 video, "Loneliness"), Harry spent the night in the studio working on his "Duit On Mon Dei" album and went from the studio straight to breakfast straight to the LA Forum where the camera crews were waiting. Harry made this shot from half-court at the LA Forum on the first try, but, alas, the cameras weren't rolling. So, after 30-some takes, Harry finally nailed it as his buddy Ringo "Merlin" Starr cheered him (after a long nap in the stands) on in this rare 30-second TV spot for his mighty fine 1975 album "Duit On Mon Dei."
