That’s really lovely of you to say that, such a compliment!! If you are only parking the car or small van it’s about £9/ £12 for the day and the boat launch won’t cost anything. Loving the videos, just waiting on my new air v 300 and 12 hp engine from boat world, just would like to ask you some questions if you don’t mind. 1. Do you insure your rib? 2. Do you need any sort of license to go on the rivers? I look forward to your reply and look forward to seeing your next video.
@Budgee197

Hi, thanks for watching!😁 1. I’ve never had insurance for my boat but it is definitely recommended. Legally I’m not sure but I’ve never been asked to produce any before. Some slipways have different policies on it so just check first beforehand. 2. Yes you definitely need a license on the river but it’s only about £30 per year. You can buy a day license for about £6/£8, something like that. You can buy a license on the environment agency website for any rivers in the uk and the are different licenses for different rivers so check the river you intend to use beforehand. Hope that helps!👍

Wow, that’s a lovely compliment, thank you! Well I’m really a complete amateur and I’m not a tech geek at all. I’ve had an absolute struggle from my very first video with filming and editing. It’s very difficult when you know absolutely nothing about the film world. BUT after all my efforts and learning everything from scratch it’s finally starting to pay off. I’ve learnt every by making hundreds of mistakes. The drone I used in this video is the DJI mini 2, it was £549.99 from curry’s pc world. I really don’t use any fancy editing software at all, I don’t even own a laptop or an iPad. I do everything on my iPhone 10xr. I use iMovie Whitchurch is an app that come with the phone, it’s a really excellent platform to create quite professional looking videos. I knew nothing about how to use it and I’ve only learned from watching other people’s videos on KZitem. The most important thing I’ve learned about film making is that it’s all about a good storyline, information and good audio, The rest can come laterKeep that in mind and you won’t go far wrong! it’s compliments like this that keeps me pushing forward with my channel and strive to get better! Thanks for watching!😁

Great video Biker Budgee. I am eagerly waiting for my first SIB to arrive at the begining of next month. It's the 390 Fisher Pro from BoatWorld. What camera are you using for the filming in the boat and underwater? The pictures are really clear. Thanks
@Budgee197
3 жыл бұрын
Oh wow! Good luck with the new boat. I hope you have as much fun as we do! The camera I use is a GoPro hero 6. It’s nothing fancy but it works great for me. I am looking to upgrade soon to a GoPro hero 9 and that should be even better. The key to good clear footage is the light. As you can see from my video it was a very clear sunny day and that helps with the clarity of the videos massively. Also make sure you always have a clean lens on the camera, especially when filming in water. The tiniest layer of dust or a water droplet can ruin the quality. The drone I use is a DJI mini 2 which is fantastic. Thanks for watching and for your support for my channel.😁

A video with beautiful, high quality images. I have a 330 inflatable boat, much like yours and a Mercury 9.9HP outboard. I don't think it gives me the power it should, I don't know why. It even seems, when I accelerate, as if the tail of the engine wants to get under the boat. Maybe it's the trim that I have it wrongly placed, I don't know. Do you have any idea why I can't go fast? Maybe because my boat doesn't have a keel? The floor is made of wooden slats, the floor of the boat is flat. They told me that with a 330 and a 9.9HP I could plan but I have never succeeded. Thank you.
@Budgee197
3 жыл бұрын
Ahh yes. 100% because of the floor being a flat bottom. You need a keel ( v shaped hull) to gain good water displacement which get the boat up out of the water and onto the plane. A flat bottom boat will only just push through the water and get no lift. Buy a v shaped boat and your engine will fly along!
@ramonfontherrera7963
3 жыл бұрын
@@Budgee197 You are very kind. This is what he suspected, that it could be because of the flat floor of the boat. I will continue to follow him through his beautiful videos. Greetings
@andrewbradford5028

Think you will need to adjust the trim of the engine, hopefully it's a short shaft, long shaft ones try to go under the boat, and make sure you have all your gear up front of boat for best chance of getting on plane.

@Budgee197
3 жыл бұрын
Hi mark, thanks for watching 👍 The drone I’ve been using is the DJI mini 2. It’s a great little drone! Very easy to fly and operate, even in tight spots. I’m sure you saw me flying it through one of the arches at Harry’s rock, that just goes to show it’s ease of use. The camera is excellent quality even using it on auto mode and is excellent at capturing great quality footage. I’ve only had the drone about 3 weeks now and I’ve never used one beforehand so that just goes to show how great they are! I paid £549.99 with the extra batteries, charging hub and carry bag from curry’s pc world. It was a big spend for me but by far the best money I’ve spent in a long time, I’m so pleased with it. I’ve had so many comments about the drone , all saying how good it is. That speaks volumes about it in my book! It’s surprisingly small but very powerful and stable, even in wind. I can’t recommend it highly enough!

Help me! Really like this boat but I’m getting so many stories of the floor being hard to put in, I’m sure I’ve asked you before but the time lapse in this video looks like I shouldn’t be put off? If you had a choice again would you get an air deck ?
@Budgee197
2 жыл бұрын
The floor is hard to put in the first time. I made the mistake of trying to put the floor in before inflating the boat first. The best way to fit the floor the first time is to fully inflate the boat without the floor panels. It helps stretch the boat out. Then deflate the boat to about 30% and then you’ll find it easier to get the floor panels installed. 👍

@Budgee197
3 жыл бұрын
Hi John. First of all I would like to say thank you for watching my video. It really supports my channel 👍 I’ve been navigating poole harbour for quite a number of years now and I’ve never used any kind of navigation system. I’ve learnt the area over time slowly venturing out a bit further with each visit. When I’ve gone out I’ve engaged with locals that are familiar with the area and I usually find out all the danger spots from them, after all the locals know it best. There are some shipping lanes but as far as I know there no restrictions but you just need to be vigilant as it’s a busy area, it’s just common sense really. It’s a lovely area on the south coast and there are a lot of different beaches you can access without any issues. There’s lots to see, even a nudest beach, obviously no filming there, lol! Hope you enjoy the area and I hope you might of gained some knowledge of this hotspot on the south coast! 😁 Once you are past the chain ferry leaving the harbour there are no restrictions or speed limit at all and your free to go wherever you like. There are clear sights inside the harbour for any speed limits you need to know about.
