It's truly commendable to see an Ethiopian psychologist making significant contributions to the field, her passion and knowledge for the work is inspiring

She is calm, brilliant, and funny at the same time. I've learned so much from her. Her fluency in Amharic also gerami new. Achieving so much and being so mature at her age is truly amazing. ❤ ሀሳቧ እንዴት ድንቅ ነው። የአሁን Generation ከሷ ብዙ መማር አለበት። ewnetim Harvard University gebach..
I apprecite Rediet's confidence & knowledge. I appreciate also if she speaks about her University days. That will be inspiring for other young Ethiopians.

I love how calm and insightful she is. We all need to stand with her as she trying to change the future of our youth. ❤
Loved it! Subscribed to this podcast. Never had neuroscience, thought, habits…explained so simply. Heard tons of podcasts/ video casts on similar topic. This beats them by breaking it down. Impressed by the mature questions and listening skills of interviewers.
What a person with full of knowledge 😊 Rediet, I ve learnt a lot from this conversation for my personal issues and feel like you gave me a treatment with out going to treatment places. I appreciate you a lot and gugutochi /podcasters .
I’ve always wanted to study what she studied but ended up in cyber security .. I’m 49 and I’m now reading and teaching myself about neuro science ! I’m just in awe with these young people !

She reminds me ትምኒት the habesha woman who was fired from google research because she raised AI research should have to include people of Color . The research and data collection by one of its own makes more meaning . Todays gust also has something in common and likeable ደርባባ 😊. Compare this beautiful የተርጋጋች ልጅ with that doctor who said , I will never marry habesha man . 😂

I like the guest. She’s calm and has a knowledge on the topic she’s talking. Her fluency in Amharic I like it so much. The podcast it’s informality is cool. But you guys need to have some Clues on the topic you’re going to talk. She’s a person full of knowledge and you guys need to let her talk. For her to talk what’s more important, your readiness is important.

Thus, the severity of the unbearable situation of the ds before breaks up my life and my son's into pieces thus i hereby humbly raise my voice higher for help from you in a certain way possible please. Dear Rediet Alemu, May I say how are you? May I also introduce myself? I am Leuel Tesfasilassie from your excellence's younger sister exam administration the day before. I am very much interested in viewing of your excellence on the pressing topic of these days, Mental Health; however, I have observed the way you are situated crossing ones for that matter, so what does your excellence think about that this is because it starts from there, so to speak. Respectfully yours, Leuel Tesfasilassie

In my opinion, Mental illness is a highly stigmatized health problem compared to many medical illnesses! The biggest contributor to the negative attitude of the public in Ethiopia towards Amanuel mental health hospital is related to such stigma and discrimination against mental health illnesses and the persons suffering from them , founded on complex cultural and social factors, instead of the misuse of the place by colonialists, unlike the example in Kenya!l, despite the fact they hate Amanuel hospital is established by the Italian invaders in 1930! I strongly agree we are frustratingly submitting to the western influence as a society due to which Ethiopia needs passionate, hard working, committed and exceedingly professional young citizens like you I.e Rediet and the interviewers, in every discipline to bring us back to our strong identity, to be ourselves!

Is really no one asking questions about the stolen scrolls? Why is no one protesting and still not minding about our treasure. We can be more this is we had done that. We are very acting selfish when we put away our ancestors knowledge that the world secretly relay on and beging the second hand knowledge

Good podcast but please avoid using English, your audience is Amharic speakers. ironically the guest did her best to stay within Amharic ( well done and credit to her ) while the hosts try to use 50% English. That's so unprofessional and unattractive from the hosts.
