I found your channel by accident with your dry canned potato video that was suggested to me, and I creeped your channel and found this video. I can only imagine the things that were discussed as a family as you were all sitting around TOGETHER and snapping these peas. Brings back memories of things that families today will never get to know. "I'm busy, go play with your Tablet so I can get this done..."

Such a wonderful video. Packed with great information. Question: how do you launder your cheese making towels? Do you need to wash by hand? What soap or other cleaning agent do you use on them? Thank you so much!❤

Good question. I use a natural DIY laundry powder and line dry. Either in an old school washer (I don't have a wringer washer yet) with other cheesecloths or flour sack towels or by hand if it's just one or a few. Dunno if that's right or wrong but it works for me.

Do you mix in the peas at the top when boiling?

Do you eat these earlier as a sugar snap pea too or do you grow those as well?

hull peas are a different variety than snap peas. they have much longer pods, 7-11peas in each pod and the pod is very tough too tough to eat.

@@RuthannzimmI like Alderman Peas or what is called Tall Telephone Pole Peas. But we moved from Central FL with afternoon shade to N. Central FL with no afternoon shade and a different soil and they didn't do well at all this last year. Lord willing I'll have raised beds this spring. I'll try again with shadecloth over just about everything.
