Thank you sir for the usefull info. Can you please tell, what you do if the plants get mold? I understood correctly that you throw the whole plants?
@Growingmicrogreens

We throw it out to be safe but if it is a small area you can use a mixture of water and 3% food grade peroxide

Hi, first I'd like to say thank you very much for you videos they very informative. I now have all the equipment, but how do I get licensed to sell to stores?
@Growingmicrogreens
3 жыл бұрын
Each state is different for stores you definitely need liability insurance we use next insurance it’s extremely affordable. For licensing you need to check with your local agriculture department to be directed to what is required for your business.

Great video. After you harvest the greens, what are the next steps with the roots left to regrow another harvest? Can you make another video or explain the process? Thanks
@Growingmicrogreens
2 жыл бұрын
We start fresh if you choose to regrow the grow is slower and each regrowth loses nutritional value. We dump it into our outdoor gardens to compost naturally. Others who have live stock feed them to them especially to chickens who will have bigger healthier eggs. Others who grow in apartments and don’t have this option throw it out.

Hey thanks for sharing your knowledge on this! I was wondering what you do with the roots after harvesting? Do you grow a second round or just recycle the soil?
@Growingmicrogreens
Жыл бұрын
We compost for our outdoor gardens and let the wildlife rummage through the roots. Also great for livestock too. If you can’t compost toss it in the garbage worst that will happen is you will provide food for wildlife at a landfill

Thank you for the video. How do you buy the seed for so cheap???? I did the math and based on the website you told us to buy (The 25 pound bag) It comes out to 61 cents per tray. You mentioned you do it for 8 cents

What happens after the grow is gone? Can the seeds re-sprout again??? If so do we just follow the same steps?
@Growingmicrogreens

Better to start over takes longer to grow back and loses nutrition

Can you tell us where you get your moisture pads for the packaging? Also, where you get labels made.
@Growingmicrogreens
3 жыл бұрын
The pads are from amazon Dry & Dry 5 Gram [200 Packets] Premium Pure and Safe Silica Gel Packets Desiccant Dehumidifier Silica Gel Packs - Rechargeable (Food Safe) Moisture Absorber Desiccant Packets www.amazon.com/dp/B01F9AAH6C/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_7B62QGQE1TANV5MAP0VG?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 We created our own labels then sent them to printrunner.com to have them printed in large quantities. Originally used a brother label maker the vw-500 and used the app to design the labels but once we started making so many this became too expensive

How do you go about creating a label and getting the barcode? Is the barcode a UPC??
@Growingmicrogreens

Made the label using a brother color editor app when we were using our brother label printer then sent the labels to printrunner.com the bar code is from gs1.org and they have a step by step easy to follow guide on creating them. Each barcode is specific to your business and product.
