I grew some this year, had no idea what they’d look like. I raise yaks. Looks like a tasty treat for my little furries.

Correct Brad, livestock fodder at this size but similar to a chiogga beet when not grown large.

I don't produce seed for mangel beets. If I were to I'd replant a few that I saved through the winter in spring and wait for them to produce seed, the same thing I do for giant turnips!

Nope, I'm going to harvest smaller this year and store for winter eating though!
