One if the best things about New Hampshire is the oysters. They are not the biggest but they have a unique taste that we love. You can't commercially harvest them and only residents can get a license. I love just slinging them down the hatch with some hot sauce but I also freeze them for chowders and fried oysters year round. I did pick up a good charge of mussels to that I steamed. They are great eating as well. This is one method of collecting them, you can also use tongs or just simply pick them up if you can find them. I have also seen people scuba dive for them.
