I genuinely think ford’s development program getting decapitated caused her development to be even more rushed. it took her all of 2 years after signing with ford to start getting xfinity starts and another two to be full time in the series. idk how they thought that’d be successful.

He’s absolutely right. The last drivers who have been ford guys for the long haul have been ironically enough the last two BKR drivers (Cindric and Briscoe). It seems when Brad Keselowski Racing went under, Ford kinda stopped caring about Xfinity and Truck development. Literally TWO TEAMS has an Xfinity or Truck program, Haas and Front Row, and I’ll give Front Row credit because they seem to care about development as seen with Todd Gilliland, Zane Smith and right now with Layne Riggs (who may have worse luck than his dad), but they may want to consider an Xfinity program to further development. I know Todd proved that Xfinity isn’t necessarily required but it still might be a good idea for them.

I’m from Pittsburgh and recently I’ve been making a couple fun little layouts on google maps for a potential street race. Something worth noting is that we already have a street race called the Vintage Grand Prix. It takes place in Schenley Park every year. It’s not downtown but it’s right there. That also might be better logistically so the streets downtown don’t have to shut down. I’ve made a couple fictional layouts for downtown too. It’s super fun to dream that stuff up for your city lol.

I agree with Harvick. With what has happened in the last 5 years for Hailie, once she left Toyota to go to Ford, it was all downhill from there. Look, both are good to a certain extent, but here are the number of teams for each manufacturer (and which ones are successful): All the Ford Teams in the NASCAR Cup Series (Successful teams are towards the top of the list) - 1. Team Penske 2. RFK Racing 3. Front Row Motorsports 4. Stewart-Haas Racing 5. Rick Ware Racing 6. Wood Brothers Racing All the Ford Teams in the NASCAR Xfinity Series (Successful teams are towards the top of the list) - 1. Stewart-Haas Racing 2. RSS Racing 3. AM Racing All the Ford Teams in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (Successful teams are towards the top of the list) - 1. Thorsport Racing 2. Front Row Motorsports 3. Reaume Brothers Racing Total - 12 Teams All the Toyota in the NASCAR Cup Series (Successful teams are towards the top of the list) - 1. Joe Gibbs Racing 2. 23XI Racing 3. Legacy Motor Club All the Toyota in the NASCAR Xfinity Series (Successful teams are towards the top of the list) - 1. Joe Gibbs Racing 2. Sam Hunt Racing All the Toyota in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (Successful teams are towards the top of the list) - 1. TRICON Garage 2. Halmar Friesen Racing 3. Hill Motorsports Total - 8 Teams Despite Ford having 6 Top-Tier Teams, 2 Mid-Tier Teams, and 4 Lower-Tier Teams in all three series, the performances of the teams don't always live up to the expectations. In contrast, Toyota has 4 Top-Tier Teams, 2 or 3 Mid-Tier Teams, and 1 Lower-Tier Team in all three series, which is distributed better for fewer teams that've performed better than expectations over the last 5 years. Such teams like Halmar Friesen Racing and Hill Motorsports in the Truck Series are good examples, despite having limited resources and funding at times.

Why not make Chicago a back to back weekend race on the schedule, and the plot twist is you must use the same car both weekends (unless deemed a total loss after a result in the street race, they may go to the backup at Chicagoland). Best part about this is, as soon as the Street Race is done, the teams may haul up and head down to Joliet where they’ll stay at the track all week. Practice is available everyday for 20 minute sessions and there will be at track entertainment all week long.

Wow! I didn’t expect TrackHouse to have a new partner! This is great! I wonder if Hendrick was already planning on racing the scheme at Indy.

If we have a street course area in the Mountain Time Zone, the Wyobraska market is available, and I'd love to have one in or near Scottsbluff, Nebraska. But if we do go to Denver, then call it the Furniture Row Grand Prix.

Are you old enough to remember when Indycar raced in Denver ?

I've wondered about Tulsa, Oklahoma or maybe Minneapolis, Minnesota. There was once a design for Boston, which would be a huge market so it would make sense.

I live in Tulsa and I'd love to see NASCAR have a race here but I highly doubt it would happen here.

To a city near me you say? The "Memphis 201 Poplar Meh-Prix" has a nice ring to it.

I can't blame her for going to Ford since Toyota was crowded but she was rushed into going to ARCA Trucks and Xfinity. Especially with ARCA and Xfinity if she had more ARCA seat time before going to Trucks then she might have been better off.

I think there should be a street race maybe in Wisconsin because us Wisconsin fans miss Nascar I think

Highly unlikely but could you imagine NASCAR racing the streets of Green Bay with Lambeau field in the background

Toronto perhaps if NASCAR were to run there with Indy again as the Canada series races there some years when it's set up for Indy? It would be this coming weekend so when it comes to scheduling who knows how or if it would work out for one of the big series to race there alongside Indy and perhaps the Canada series?

8:34 was a sprint podium but still impressive especially when you factor in they’re running last years bike instead of the new Aprilla bikes, I also hope they invest into their MotoGP program bc as an American watching MotoGP I do get a sense of pride watching the Stars and Striped bikes making their way thru the field plus hopefully Joe Roberts(Californian) will be the sole American in motogp
