I also took my breast implants out as after I had them in a year later I was diagnosed with hypo thyroidism and shortly after hashimotos… they talked about it so causally so I really didn’t get the grasp how much it was going to effect me… my endocrinologist was shocked I had 13000 antibodies and couldn’t tell me Why either … or why I couldn’t get pregnant all he cared about was my TSH was ok… long story short I started seeing a naturopath and the first thing she asked me was do you have any foreign objects I’m your body and I said yes my implants, she said that may being causing the antibodies, I took no hesitation to remove them, so I did a test my thyroid antibodies remained at 13000 for roughly 2 years and took the test week before I went into surgery, still 13000 took my implants out week later did test 935 …. The ONLY person who could tell me why was a naturopath no one else … she also told me to go gluten dairy free I did. That for a few months but I caved in … very hard to stick to that kind of diet …. So I limit my gluten as best as I can … hopefully now I can get pregnant soon but yes heart palpitations put me in hospital several times, and other helpful person was a Chinese herbalist … I use all organic products for the house and body now so I do my best but going into remission takes dedication especially with diet and I suck at sticking to the food part

My experience of 40+ years of Hashimoto's is that when my thyroid is hypo I have heart palpitations. The best I can describe it is it feels like two forces are fighting over my heart. It feels to me like my heart is getting one message to speed up and another message to slow down. I have the sensation that my heart is trying to keep up with something.

Most with Psoriasis know that the organ, Skin is affected. We also know it affects our other non seen organs as well. Stress is the biggest contribution to psoriatic upticd.

Another good one. I've been having heart palpitations / arrhythmia for a few months now. I didn't understand the connection between hashimoto's and those symptoms.

Had a 24hour Holter Monitor two weeks ago and four EKG’s with not so great findings for this exact problem. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s at 21 yrs old. Had a total Thyroidectomy at 40 (cancer in thyroid and in nodule). I don’t know if I have Hashimoto’s anymore, but I have been having crazy palpitations the last couple of months. 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️

I have palpitations since I was 20 years old, or at least since than I am aware of them. Also around my 20ties I had my first severe migraine attack which lasted one week. Never heard of this though, still wonder what it is???? I read a lot about autoimmune diseases lately, and I can recognize myself in there too. Though I am not a doctor of course, so I just try to figure this out and eat healthy.

My heart has been under control since I started thyroid medication. Luckily one of my clients was an RN with thyroid issues herself. She insisted I had thyroid problems when I explained my symptoms. My Dr dismissed it. She insisted I get tested for antibodies. Idk why they didn't regularly test for it.

IMHO, the most important thing is to test your t3 level and figure out if you need just the t4, or you need both t3 & t4. I was treated for 9 years with only Levothyroxine and I had no improvement. Finally my Dr did a test and figured out that I needed both. The synthetic drugs are levothyroxine and cytomel, I think. The natural drugs are armor thyroid and nature throid.
