The only video I’ve found which explains the depth of field scale on these lenses. Very good!

I have to admit, the Hasselblad 500 series are fantastic cameras. I like to use mine with flash. I have the older Metz 45, swivel head with the bracket. Tip for you. I rotate the main Metz flash head backwards, and just use the little forward flash secondary flash to create highlights in the eyes. I do this out doors too and it really adds to the head/ shoulder shots. Also on dull over cast days I like to use a shot of fill flash using the main head when doing head/shoulder shots. The difference is night and day and will make your black and white heads shot pop.

Very good, thanks. One thing: Your lens has a self-timer! Another thing: You can't lock the shutter release button of this camera. The switch is for the 'T-setting' instead.

Hi Stefan, you are correct, the lens does have a self timer and I should have mentioned that so thank you. Back to the shutter release! I did not know this and will try this out myself. Thanks for pointing this out it is appreciated.

You beat me, I have one 503CM and 2 x 500CM. A year ago I did sell my 503CX. So three Hasselblads verses your four. You can never have too many 500 series Hasselblads. I should buy more!
